Welcome to a new/old Hearthstone (Free) Tavern Brawl, Captain BlackHeart’s Treasure. We’ve played this Brawl quite a few times in the past, but it’s more famous for the time we didn’t get to play it; you see, CBT was supposed to come out just before League of Explorers as a tease for the new Discover mechanic, but it managed to crash the Blizzard servers and sail over the horizon as quickly as it came. We did end up getting it a few week’s later after all, but CBT is really the testament to Blizzard’s improving infrastructure since now even more people can play this Brawl and the lights stay on (at least I hope so).

The Brawl comes with premade decks, and every turn you get to pick one of three cards. As you can imagine, you can more easily get combos going since you can pick the cards you want, and the better you learn the decks, the easier the brawl will be. Keep in mind, though, that this one takes some time to play because there are decisions to be made on both sides every single turn. The Brawl is live in the Americas, so go looting.
