Back in October, ZeptoLab celebrated the 5th birthday of Cut the Rope and its star Om Nom with an update to Cut the Rope 2 ($1.99) and the announcement of a new game in the series called Cut the Rope: Magic. That announcement didn’t come with many details of the new game, but today ZeptoLab has released a new trailer for Cut the Rope: Magic along with a launch date of December 17th. Unfortunately, this new trailer doesn’t reveal a whole lot either.
So it appears that a bad guy steals all of Om Nom’s candy, and there are multiple characters to play as in Cut the Rope: Magic. And that’s about all I gleaned from that. I’d imagine that the swinging of candy into mouths and the cutting of ropes will be involved too. Fortunately, December 17th isn’t that far off so we’ll just have to kick back for a couple of weeks until we can fully find out what Cut the Rope: Magic is all about.
