There's been a lot going on with Godfire: Rise of Prometheus lately in the release teasing department, but we got a chance to play it on the floor at E3 today and it's super cool. It looked great, and played a lot like God of War, which is a really good thing.

Godfire: Rise of Prometheus will be released next week, and we're super excited for it.

Love the god of war series...this looks as good as

Haha that put your earlier post aimed at the most unclean about how he dared make a comparison to god of war haha will so has eli, why.... Guess what it does have the same mechanics, thats not to diss god of war but you should not feel you should diss a game you have not played. P.s god of war was nothing special, personally darksiders blows god of war and any of the horseman would make kratos their bitch lol

      • Based Xatu

Yes, it's not like kratos hasn't killed greater threats. Darksiders has a trash story and broken gameplay hidden behind loot drops. It borrowed from god of war, Zelda, and a bunch of other better games.

  • DuckyShot

Hopefully there's enough ICE to keep GodFIRE COOL

    *ba dum tss*

    • HelperMonkey

      Yeah! yeah!... Wait. What?

      • DuckyShot

        Hehe lol

  • valz34

I hope this works on ipodtouch 5 with cool graphics :))

  • worldcitizen1919

It played very slow. Is that the normal speed? The graphics look like God of War but played in slow motion?? Looked weird.

    • ImJPaul

It looks sooooo good but I agree. The walking movement seems fine, it's just the combat that seems a little slow. Doesn't seem to be game breaking and it is probably more realistic then most other games. I'm thinking that's probably what they were going for? Either way. Super pumped. Looks totally awesome.

  • paxal

Thanks God its not swipe combat system

    • KoRoV

Whats wrong with swipe controls like in Bladeslinger? That would fit here perfectly. But this is ok as it is

  • HelperMonkey

Ooh! I hope we get to have our liver torn out and consumed by an eagle every day! That game would be sweeeet!

  • Dom1nat0R

In the armory there was a store tab. Please tell me they don't have iap's.

    • KoRoV

They have, but its only for those who dont know how to play games like this :p

  • rich_952000

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up on this game....anyone know the release price? I take it this isn't freemium? Thanks

    • KoRoV

No and thx God for that 😀

  • DrlRage

The visuals look nice but the gameplay looks so slow, (not in a realistic kind of way) and seems only limited to a few combos + moves. Why can't they just port God of War or take inspiration from all the parts that make it awesome. I know I sound like a hater but I feel like if nobody says anything then they lose out on the game being better and the developer loses out on an opportunity to have a more polished game. It might just be as easy as increasing the gamespeed...who knows.

  • Boris Nguetie

if somehow devs are reading this then you guys should really do something about the speed. may be an update?

  • demod1

    Looks glorious to me!

  • Rothgarr

I don't get the comments about the combat being slow. If anything, that seems realistic to me. Swords and shields have real weight, they're not made of styrofoam. It's not like those unrealistic brawlers where there's one or two frames of animation between pressing a button and striking your opponent. This also makes you think about your strategy and not just mash the buttons.

  • mzinn

This looks great. Can't wait to play this one. I loved IB3 and this looks like it could take its spot on my favorite list. Finishing a few games over the weekend to make room for it. Instabuy for me.

  • Killerluffy246

Have a feeling that this game is not going to last more than 5 hours , unlike battleheart legacy which I've spent more than 10 hours on it
