We just got word straight from Telltale that their next adventure game series will be hitting iOS tonight. The Wolf Among Us follows the comic book series "Fables" and is rocking some respectable averages on Metacritic, at least for the PC/console version.

Here's the story behind the game:

Like previous Telltale games, it's going to be available in installments with the first episode, titled "Faith", available tonight for $4.99. Of course, like other games, you can buy a season pass which will get you all the available in-game content as it is released for $14.99, or just pick the five episodes up individually as they come.

Any news on if this will work on iPad 2? I can't run it well on my computer, so I'm hoping the iPad version works OK on iPad 2….

    • NOEN

I'm hoping the same. Walking Dead runs fine on my iPad 2 and so does every other Telltale game, so I'm HOPING this does as well.

    YEEEAHHH!!!

Is this game anything like Lone Wolf? Or it's a storybook game? Very good-looking art.

    • Onikage725

No, think more The Walking Dead game, or even somewhat the Back to the Future or Jurassic Park games. Point and click/story and choice-driven adventure.

I see... Not my kind of game, unfortunately! But no lie, FANTASTIC art-style?! I love it.

I think he got his frank and beans caught in his zipper.

I hope it keeps the full console visuals on the ipad air and other A7 devices

The Walking Dead kept the full console visuals on the original iPad Mini, so it hardly needs the latest tech to keep it looking pretty. I played the last game on both PS3 and iPad Mini and it looked better (and played better) on the touchscreen. I expect this to do the same.

The only reason I won't be rushing to buy this, as much as I want to, is that I can't afford the disk space. The save file carries over between episodes, so I'd need to store these episodes for months until the final part is out. With only 16 GB to play with, I can't do that right now. Will wait until it is all out and then binge on it.

you're sure about this? because its looks a bit downgraded in terms of visuals on my ipad air and iphone 5 compared to the ps3 version i played.

almost brokedown and bought ps3 version last weekend but as these look like good touch control games managed to hold off. yay! never played these games before but am huge Fables fan.

Hell yeah i will be glad to have this console game on my iPad Air 32GB :)

    Can't wait to download this.

Pumped for this. Liked Walking Dead on my laptop fine, but thought it'd be much better on the iPad.
