The original Touchgrind [$4.99 / $7.99 (HD)] was, and still is an amazing fingerboard game. I thought it was too hard for me, and it didn't help that the locked top-down camera made it really difficult to put together any kind of reasonable line to do tricks on until you really memorized the parks. Touchgrind BMX [$4.99] fixed this in a big way by shifting the camera back, which instantly made a massive difference. Touchgrind Skate 2 is a further evolution of this formula, and really combines the best of both games.

Touchgrind Skate 2 will be available in the New Zealand App Store at 7:00 AM Eastern time, before it slowly filters through the various iTunes region and finally appearing for download in the US App Store at 11:00 PM tonight. Stay tuned for links to both download the game, as well as forum links to discuss it with members of the TouchArcade community.

I didn't know this was coming out this week! This makes my day. I'll be getting this tonight. This is one of the few games that I think has console quality but especially designed for touch control. Instabuy.

I'm so playing this. Still play True Skate as well.
But seriously what's the difference between this and say, Farming Simulator? Both are more pastimes rather than end goal oriented. Grinding, farming? Are we talking WoW?
