Late this afternoon, Eli and I gave Flight Unlimited Las Vegas ($0.99) a spin. As you’d expect, it’s a flight simulator set in Las Vegas.
Flight Vegas certainly isn’t the most sophisticated flying sim we have played on touch, but the physics feel pretty good and there’s enough piloting options to satisfy the sim part of the experience. Specifically, you’ve got control over the flaps, landing gear, thrust, and rudders of a handful of planes.
The visuals in particular are a high note. There’s no mistaking the buildings you see as you fly over the strip. It’ll be interesting to see if, in future updates, Vegas’s Vegas becomes more fleshed out. Either way, it’s pretty cool. Check it:
