We've had our pepperoni-greased thumbs all over Tiny Tower since the start of a beta last month. Nissa did a fabulous hands-on preview not long ago, but this recent trailer actually shows the game in motion which should really whet the appetite of any NimbleBit fan:

In the same vein of Pocket Frogs, Tiny Tower is a free to play game that is balanced in a way that you don't really ever hit those annoying pay walls where you have two choices: Close the game, or fork over some cash. I've been having a great time with the beta, and if all goes as planned, Tiny Tower should be available on the App Store in late June or early July.

For more details on the game, check out the thread in our upcoming games forum.

Love the look of this. Gives me some serious Little Computer People Vibes. I "played" LCP to bits even though there wasn't too much there. It was just the atmosphere of the place and the little pixel-guy with his dog. Really looking forward to checking this out!

I missed LCP the first time around, but I've seen it mentioned in lists of retro games. I think I emulated it once but the idea seemed somewhat better than the execution... probably didn't age too well. I agree with the similarity though, hopefully this will be as good as I expected LCP to be.

Amazing, but, not had to come out in two months from mid-March?
    Is slipping more and more.

    I can't wait.

They are beta testing the heck out of this game to make it balanced. I think that's what is causing the delay

PLS EA MAXIS>... its already time for a SIMTOWER Port... it would make so much fun having the game on a iOS device...

Sim Tower is available for iPad. It is named Yoot Tower, which is the PC game's original name if I recall correctly.
