looks awesome, will review on my when it comes out…

  • quincy says:

Great more fuel for the fire!

I was actually starting to enjoy the fact that I haven't heard about this crap for a while, but I see it just won't die…..untill or if it debuts

  • quincy says:

and imho it doesn't really look that much better than Fastlane, other than the fact that these are real cars- it looks choppy and needs smoother lines, $20 for this app? I hope not and if so-I'd really be pissed if they had to update this game at all after it's release. can you imagine paying that price only to wait for stability updates. If idevices are ever gonna charge console prices then they need to put out complete games. I never have bought a Ps2 game and waited for an update.
I'd rather not here about the games and wait the two years it takes to make for a solid product. I don't mind this with 10 dolllar games because their 10 dollar games….and the update can be downloaded through the device itself. But all this over a potentially 20 dollar app with no said date and multiple changes in the screenshots, with possible stability updates? This game has already failed in my eyes……and after I play it I'll be able to say that with 100% confidence

  • arn says:

the $20 app thing is just speculation on the part of people. It's all rumors. And NFS's participation just speculation.

  • Nick Ellis says:

I will gladly pay US$ 20 for this, if it ever comes out.

  • Rychiar says:

ZzzzzZZZ there's enough racers for 99 cents that i could care less. I want a new RPG!

  • mrholder says:

It looks dark and gloomy imo.

  • Thaurin says:

Yes, more RPGs, please! Maybe iDracula will provide RPG elements–I sure hope so, but I fear it will be "just" a hack-and-slash game and nothing Diablo-like. Maybe the Might and Magic-like game The Quest will really be something.

  • Stormchild says:

Think it might be time for quincy to take a little nap. ;)

    Looks awesome!

  • Kenshin says:

The map needs more polishing, it looks UGLY

  • ArtOfWarfare says:

Personally, I think it doesn't look all that bad.

Except for that EA label. I honestly can't say I've ever enjoyed a game that had the EA logo.

  • Inferi says:

Wat does imo or IMHO mean

  • None4you says:

what? the game looks fantastic. The graphics are great, and they only look choppy because you are looking at screen shots on your much much bigger monitor. And besides, none of these 3d games use anti-aliasing, so it shouldn't look worse than ferrari gt in terms of choppy edges.

  • Acid_tripp says:

    @Inferi

    Google.

  • M1ch3l says:

I'm not buying this game because ive already seen everything because i see 'new' screenshots of this game every two weeks.

  • TKO says:

meh .. I miss the old need for speed .. rolling countryside and beautiful winding roads. Tired of the urban theme.

IMHO the commercial companies forget this is a mobile platform and make the games too long, involved, slow loading, and memory-hungry. I'll stick with the (many) smaller racing games I already have thanks.

  • along123 says:

Looks pretty cool to me. Not, sure bout the game play though. Have to wait for the review and comments on the forum before deciding to buy.

  • Ballpeen says:

one mistake I see being made on some of these racers (Fastlane) are the backgrounds being too "busy" and too many shadows or lens flares.

It becomes extremely hard to see where the road is going on the small screen while moving fast, thus adding unnecessary frustration and taking the "fun" out of the game.

And PLEASE make track & car locking OPTIONAL! If the user want to play with the locked items, let them select it. If not, the user should be able to select unlock everything. Everybody's happy!

I paid for the game, I want to drive the cars and on the tracks that are there.

  • Oliver says:

Fastlane has busy backgrounds? Maybe you never played "old" racing games like Lotus or looked at formula 1 races m on TV, but it's near impossible to see corners in these cars ;) .

  • Oliver says:

Sorry, first one was also a game. It's rather hard to find cockpit images which are not out of games ;) . Take a look at 1:04 of this video to get an impression on how mich you see of the upcoming road in these cars, which isn't much: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Mh0t16yqM

Problem is not the busy background, but the flat cars ;) .

    hehe.. the Commercial Companies…

  • Ballpeen says:

Oliver: those screenshots are what I would like to see, much of Fastlane(btw: which I think is currently the best on iphone & is very good) tho is dark with lots of overpasses, buildings, etc.
Those are fine on a pc sceen, but just too much (IMHO) on the iphone.

    Exhibit: http://www.fastlanestreetracing.com/screenshots.html

Consider those screenshots on the iphone's smaller screen.
    I rest my case.

  • Dvsh says:

I'm tired of this.I've heard about this game for ages and now am wondering if it will ever be released 1 day or is it just a commercial hoax.Anyways this nfs looks better than current racing games but can the ipod touch/phone really supply the graphics we are all looking for???

  • marc says:

i haven't purchased any racing games yet. i like the fastlane freebie but think i'll wait to see what comes of this. i've never played a nfs game i dont think, but i'm pretty sweet on burnout paradise – that's ea isn't it? is nfs anything like burnout?

  • ansirone says:

man, at this point im worried this might suck cuz of how and over hyped it has been.

  • Very right with the Urban theme. Switch it up, and go back to some well known suburbs. Do a Route 66 type of deal. Drive across long winding roads from town to toen instead of city blocks. That would be nice.

  • Frank says:

just go get asphalt 4 very solid game and playable for hours
