    It seems, that there will be a lite of every app soon?
    I like it.

  2. good

    Glad to see them struggling. I'm still pissed at the banners in Dropship and Topple, after having paid for them, and no updates.

    Hard to take anything TA says about Rolando seriously when ngmoco was/is such a prominent sponsor of this site. Conflict of interests, anyone?

  4. arn

    @mavis you are welcome to not believe that ngomoco is coming out with a Lite version of Rolando if you don't trust us. :)

    boring game!!!!!!!!!

    Finally! People who understand!
    I bought Rolando during all the hype. Worst $10 ever spent.

  7. Steve

    lite games are sometimes enough for me.

    @ Arn, beforevi bought and played Rolando I thought the hype was unnessacary. Now, starting on my 2nd playthrough, this game is an all-star grouped in the Appstore with a bunch of minor leaguers!

    I hope Ngmoco continues producing the most and highly innovative and entertaining games on iTunes! Thanks.

    Funny to see, that Rolando (one of the very few GREAT titles) provokes so many haters. Yeah guys, something to think, with style....not just the next stupid average shooter copy.

    I was just thinking about buying this game. I'm very happy the lite version is coming soon.

    Cool.

    @mavis, have you ever read a magazine or been on the web before? Advertising on review mags and sites is not new or interesting.

    @good, I fail to see what would make you angry. How is a banner in those games effecting your enjoyment of them? You can't play them anymore? I don't understand.

    @your personal robot
    You bet there will be. It's worked for others, so every serious developer is going to try it out. It's definitely the next best thing to having a demo that can automatically be upgraded via purchase.

    i pray every game has a lite version!! whats wrong with that?

  13. HamJoys

    Rolando was horribly overrated. I really should have waited until the lite version was available.

  14. poops

    great game, give it a try.

  15. marcus

    @good

    wow, you got two great games for a DOLLAR each and had to see a banner ad for three seconds.

    you might be shocked to learn that arcade games in the 80's cost a WHOLE QUARTER

    Such a robust defense of banners. Let's get a new thread up insisting that every developer put banners on their games. They look great and totally add to the experience. I've heard the new version of Rolando will have an ifart banner, which is really just great.

    @Marcus and @Aaron You're idiots. It has nothing to do with money. I don't like seeing some stupid orange rolando king thing when I'm in the mood to play dropship. It takes me out of the game. (Topple sucks they can put all the banners they want on it). Why put all that time into giving a game a look and then slap a banner on it.

    Funny how no one is addressing the lack of updates, which brings me to my original point - ngmoco is arrogant and there are plenty of other great games out there. Support the companies that care about their base.
