I can't play it even though I paid for it cause I think you have to have firmware 2.2

Eric, get firmware 2.2

iPhone OS 2.2 is free to upgrade to. And it's worth it.
1. You can play Flick Fishing 1.2!
2. You get street view in Google Maps
3. You get a google search bar in vertical mode in Safari
4. Other iPhone Bugs have been fixed!

@joni
Elusive logic, unless you have a jail-broken iphone…
December 1st, 2008 at 6:01 pm
yeah my phone is jail broken so I am just chillin on 2.1 for a bit, but man I want to play the new update
December 1st, 2008 at 6:37 pm
Mine is jailbroken too, and I upgraded to 2.2 last week no problem.
You do know… that there's a jailbroken app that fakes the reported OS version, right?

Ah, I don't think I could handle the jailbroken life. When updates come out I just have to try them. Can't wait at all. If I'm going out, I'll be five minutes late just so I can sync the updated stuff in iTunes. hehe.
I'm sure there are benefits to being jailbroken, but I'm an IT professional. I've long since tired of tweaking things. Between the computers and gadgets in our family I'd never get out if I was tweaking and worrying about what hacked things *not* to update. :p (us IT people don't get out enough as it is.)

How can i unlock the feature for night fishing?!
December 2nd, 2008 at 11:01 am
Jailbreaking is the best thing sinds fire.
You could jailbreak 2.2, 3 days after it came out.

Methinks this is sounding a lot like the fishing in Animal Crossing. Help Blathers (Old Guy) collect fish for his acquarium in the Museum (Lighthouse). LOL.
