Hudson is giving away three of its iPhone games this week as a promotion for the Tokyo Game Show 2008.
The free games include:
The promotion ends October 12th, so get them while you can.
Aqua Forest is the most popular of the three and offers a very impressive physics engine.

Aqua Forest was a game I wanted at from the beginning, but seeing the so-so reviews at the time, I passed. I remember reading some complaints about performance issues.
So, I thought it very strange that this game is still a 1.0 release. No updates? Same with their other games.
Nevertheless, I'm can't pass up a freebie.
By the way, TUAW reports another Tertris-like game yanked from the app store:

Aqua Forest is definitely worth trying out. It's also a puzzle game, though the reviews seem to forget about that.
@bud
That Tetris-like game was free last night (I grabbed a copy). I think the devs must have known they were gettin booted before it happened. It seems that was a last middle finger to the Tertis Company.
Yep – I tried to download Shaker earlier today since it was listed as now being free and found that it was gone.
Catch the Egg is pretty dumb, but for free it's worth downloading. It's kind of amusing at least for a little while. It's basically a single mini-game. I feel sorry for those who paid for it, but for free? Sure, why not.
Aqua Forest I tried briefly and it did seem pretty slow, but should still be fun. Looking forward to playing this more.
I downloaded but didn't try NeoSameGame yet. I'm not really expecting that I'll be a keeper – this type of game has been done to death. For free, though, of course I had to get it.
After trying out Aqua Forest, I'm glad I never shelled out the $8 for it. IT's worth $1.99 or less if you ask me. The performance is downright appalling and its real appeal only lasts a few minutes.
I'd much rather have shelled out for NeoSameGame than AF.
Of course now I got them both free.
I bough AF a while back. I kept trying to make a steam engine out of it. After that it wasn't that exciting. I pick it up every now and then.
Im glad they are free because I wouldn't of paid for them XD
I bought AquaForest on launch weekend because I thought it looked really cool. It was not, in fact, cool. See ya, $8
I'm glad I didn't pay for NeoSameGame. I think it's going to take some time to recover from the five minutes I spent playing it.
I actually found NeoSameGame to be the best game and it's overall a very good game. For once Hudson makes a DECENT game. The rest are ok but not really worth the memory they use on the iPhone/iPod Touch, at least Catch The Egg isnt.
I don't know what's wrong with Hudson. neosamegame has sucking 32kbit mp3s and is plain boring. Aquaforest is a great idea but runs so slow that you can't play it. Bomberman has a control scheme which is unusable in hectic levels. Puzzloop, as their newest games, is better. A bit too colorful, but better. The worse thing is that they seem to learn but don't update the sucking games with what they learnt
I passed on that Catch The Egg game, because, well, it just looked silly…
I downloaded the other two though and tried them out.
NeoSameGame… Meh… like the name implies, just more of the same kinda game that's all over the App Store. I'm so bored of those kind of games already. Don't think I'll be keeping that one.
Aqua Forest is a pretty darn good puzzle game, but boy, it's really sluggish and slow to respond. If they could speed up the performance a bit, then this would be a winner.
so glad I didn't pay for aqua forest when I wanted to. all the horrible reviews saved me 8 bucks.
Hudson needs to stick to what they're good at. Adventure Island!
not that I've played a LOT of Adventure Island, but I like platformers and it was a good enough game on my old flip phone.
