Yeah, really strange, if it was really released already worldwide, it out be out already, and there would be some activity in this thread. Maybe someone can confirm from Great Britain or Japan, what is going on? Or maybe no one cares anymore, who knows. All worldwide releases would have had tons of posts by now.
Graphics, controls, and driving are better. Ai seems much worse, but maybe its because you really have to worry about repairs due to the wait timers.
Just did a search for Real Racing on the US store, not there, anyone got a link? Man, it is tough talking about release times with so many people worldwide. Maybe this means it will be released in 8 hours for the US.
Yup, UK user here and it's out. Search for EA, click on any app. Then on the app description click "related". Click "See All" then scroll to the bottom. It's there.
Ahh ... indeed it is ... just noticed it on the UK store: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/real-racing-3/id556164350?mt=8
Doesn't look like it ... only thing different on UK build is date of update (for 1.0.2) is today not 20th like on NZ Looks like we have "it" All i've done is deleted the NZ version in iTunes, downloaded UK version and its not registered the change in app as a difference even ...
Are you planning on using a file browser to reupload your save data? Will you let us know how that goes? I had some issues with iFunBox and RR3 earlier in the week.... Thanks!
You have the terminology a bit wrong. A series (actually at least 2 per car) is unlocked when you buy a car. Most cars can be bought with R$, but a few only with coins. A series is a collection of about 30 events which are single races of various types (such as cups, time challenges, head to head etc). The events within a series are unlocked by earning trophies in the currently unlocked events. Most can be entered with any of the cars for the series, except for 1 car specific event for each car in the series. However there are always plenty of prior events to allow progress. If you do get stuck, you can use gold to unlock the next tier of events, but I haven't needed to. Additionally to higher tier events earning bigger rewards, you gain a bonus for completing 25, 50, 75 and 100% of a series. This is in the form of both cash and gold coins - for example 100% on the 1st series earned me 15000$ and 15 gold. Finally regarding playing for free, it is totally possible. I haven't spent anything yet (as I'm from UK but been playing the NZ version) and have reached level 48, completed almost 20% of the game, with more than 100 gold trophies. I have acquired 8 cars so far including 2 purchased with gold earned through completing events and the bonuses mentioned above.
Does anyone know of any icloud save? Should I go to the US version? Any advantage? Well, if it is indeed released in England, then the hoard should be coming soon. Weird that no one comes so far, maybe this is just old news.
I just did ... wasn't going to bother but i used iExplorer (on the mac) to backup my 'documents' folder ... reinstalled, let it update and launch once, then closed and restored folder... no issues .. works a treat.. Was going to restore my whole iPhone had it not
We can't do a normal online race anymore can we? So how do we race against friends? Is it just a campaign mode because I can't find arcade mode. I thought we could do a lap then challenge a friend to race against my ghost in time shifted multiplayer?
Now available in the Romania store. I've had the New Zealand version for two weeks, and it appears now as an update 1.0.2 in the appstore. I'm going for it. What's the deal with reinstalling the game from US store? Is it any different? What were you guys talking about? Also, i'm looking for harder opponents. If you are one, please add me on GameCenter: DannyWalkman
Interesting read http://toucharcade.com/2013/02/27/real-racing-3-tips-on-how-to-spend-as-little-real-money-as-possible/ And http://toucharcade.com/2013/02/27/real-racing-3-launch-trailer-released/ Kind of leads me to believe that no formal review is coming.
