It is odd. I mean we have seen people who we know work for ngmoco have been viewing this very thread and they have said nothing. Guess they haven't seen the 40 or so pages in the last 5 hours.
The guy that made this game, Simon Oliver, actually works at the ngmoco headquarters. Sure his company is Hand Circus, but it seems like its just a small part of ngmoco. If you notice in Star Defense, there's a company named Rough Cookie yet the creator is a ngmofo.
They're probably messing with us. Making us have the little hope that they will give us an update on Rolando 2.
Almost lends credence to the theory put forward earlier that the whole thing is part of their marketing and they're just quietly watching what we're up to!
Actually Simon Oliver is based in London. If you look on ngmoco their goal is to publish games by microstudios.
That is very interesting to know! So despite ngmoco being a publisher for small devs they are also releasing their own stuff covertly? Decreases my sympathy for the developer a bit...

Well it's only a guess. I just heard that when Rolando 2 was in the making, Simon Oliver was couped up in ngmoco's HQ coding away. Might be the same for the Stephanie woman who made Star Defense. @MartiNZ I figured that out You guys are a bunch of jokesters.
Maybe when they clicked to remove the original Rolando from sale they accidentally clicked to remove Rolando 2

Perhaps this is how ngmoco execute "creative control" over their developers, imprison them until they do their bidding!
I have not read the 600+ posts since midnight.. All I have seen is that they were going to pull Rolando1 on July 1st but not when Rolando 2 would be released. Does someone have other information?
