Help me decide. I am thinking of getting strategy game and thinking of Star Base Orion vs King of Dragon Pass. Both are now same price because of the sale.
I just got the demo for Ghost Trick mostly because it was the developers of Phoenix Wright, which if you weren't here when I used to post a lot, I was a HUGE fan of. I'm sure it's going to be AMAZING since those devs don't disappoint ever. I'll check out Swordigo at some point since I've seen nothing but positive shit about it. I'll definitely be getting Black Ops at some point then since it seems like an overall huge improvement over World at War Zombies which I definitely got my money's worth out of. I was considering getting the Sam & Max games though since I LOVE the series and have played through the entire first season already. I'm also looking at getting both Epoch and Mega Man X at some point since both looked EXTREMELY good, but I just have to check how much money I have left before making any purchases.
Seasons improves over the original and doesnt have all the Rio annoying things, is the one with most updates, and they are all different themes. No boss battles though. They even trow some really good bonus levels (1 being in space), but they are spare. It has the orange bird. The original game is good too, and have better level design but its not as visual as Seasons. Hope it helps
MadCoaster has the same level system as Tiny Wings and has a great sense of speed and varied themes... great power ups and fun along the ride
Should I get king of dragons pass? I don't usually play the older text based RPGs like this but it looks like I might like it. Impressions?
I reviewed it a while back (you can find the review through the link in my sig) it is really fun and has a tonne of content. I was obsessed with it for a while and played through it a few times and still did different things each time.
Check out the new ipad retina display thread. It is stickied in general game discussion and questions subforum
If you're willing to throw down the money for it, SoulCalibur is a FANTASTIC fighting game. Otherwise, as I'm surprised everyone hasn't yelled yet, Infinity Blade II is a MUST HAVE. Obviously Modern Combat 3 and Dead Space are still great games for the money too, and look great on the iPad apparently. And even though it's not exactly an iPad enhanced game, EVERYONE NEEDS to get Chrono Trigger at some point.
You should be able to find something that suits your tastes in these lists. Also, World of Goo is awesome on the iPad. http://toucharcade.com/2011/12/23/best-ios-games-2011-buyers-guide/ http://toucharcade.com/2010/12/24/best-ipod-touch-and-iphone-games-2010-buyers-guide/

The more expensive version of Pocket RPG is the Universal version, which means it is designed to be played on either an iPhone/iPod Touch or an iPad. The less expensive one is iPhone/iPod Touch only. It is a great game. I don't have Battleloot yet, but Battleheart is awesome. One of the best iOS games of last year. Many games have come out that copy its formula. Check out Swordigo, its not a dungeon crawler per se, think of it as a combination of Zelda and Mario. One of my all time favorites for iOS. Also, check the links I posted in my last post at the top of this page for more recommendations. Post #1291.
Anything good for $15? I'm considering getting Mega Man X and Epoch, especially the latter, which together would leave me with $7. I just bought all chapters of Ghost Trick after playing the first chapter, so no need to recommend that.
Can someone please recommend to me the best CTF games for IOS? I enjoy games with some kind of progression system, but not at the expense of gameplay.
