Hello there, TouchArcade players! Block Droppin' is the first game from Rocketship Park, a new indie studio formed by Shane McCafferty (Starseed: Origin, Crobble) and Jim Squires (didn't he write a few things for TouchArcade a zillion years ago?) Block Droppin' Beta Signup Form: https://goo.gl/forms/TjPuxihNyENc3vm43 Combining elements of sliding and falling block puzzles, Block Droppin' has players creating shapes in the upper box that will fall into the lower box below. You'll need to create the right shapes in the right places if you want to clear lines and score points, which means splitting your focus between shape-creation and shape-placement. It's the sort of experience that's easy to grasp in moments, but allows for plenty of strategy once you have a firm understanding of the basics -- and it knows how to amp up the pressure to keep you on your toes. Block Droppin' will be live on the App Store later this summer, but we'd love to get your feedback before we unleash it on the masses. We'll be launching our beta early this week, so if you're interested, please visit our Block Droppin' beta signup page and let us know where to send your invitation. Thanks for considering our Block Droppin' beta, and we hope to see you playing real soon!
Hi all, the more testers we get on-board the better. If you liked any of my previous iOS things (Word Forward, AlphaPit, or Crobble) you'll love this. Shane.
Although a little confused about its action, I do like the art and wish to give a try. Just signed for a tester.
