Spoke to the guy behind it at quite a few retro shows - Rob Hewson. His dad was the guy behind Hewson Consultants (Andrew Hewson) in the 80s who released the classic Uridium and this is like the iOS homage to it Instant purchase Edit - plays really well. Controls are great. Graphics really good. A nice horizontal shooter where you have to go right then back to your left Well worth picking up retroboy27 and Anotherkellydown like this. ekiwi Member Feb 24, 2018 8 0 1 #4 ekiwi, Nov 12, 2018 Last edited: Nov 13, 2018 Super delighted to see this homage to the C64 classic on iOS (and to read about the familial connection to the original Uridium!) Well done guys a super effort! Couple small requests for any planned updates if I might be so bold?... - Can you add the autohide preference in Xcode so the iPhoneX bottom edge navbar is hidden during play? - Option to hide the visible Ui - No stick overlay, and no button for tap to fire. Would be even more pristine without. Functions the same but tap anywhere on right half to fire. Swipe to Turbo boost? - In Settings I can't seem to change Graphics from 'standard' or choose the options in Store once unlocked? Im probably holding it wrong. Wishing you great success! Can't wait to see what other classics might be incoming! "Controls" under options is only informative and not actually functional/customizable. I find it too hard controlling the ship, especially the "flip" (change direction) movement which I trigger by accident most of the time due to slight horizontal movement of the finger to either side when all I'm trying to do is move the ship up or down. A dedicated button or adjusting how sensitive it is would be very helpful for this. Overall the game is cool but I have actually avoided it due to the aforementioned movement difficulty which doesn't let me enjoy it and rather makes playtime kinda punishing. ac166 Well-Known Member May 15, 2014 383 12 18 #17 ac166, Dec 5, 2018 Wooo!
