Monster Hunter Stories ($19.99) from Capcom brought its turn based combat and gorgeous visuals to iOS and Android following the Nintendo 3DS version a few years ago. Since then, Capcom has discounted it a few times and recently updated it to better support modern iPhone screens. Sadly, as of the most recent update, it still doesn’t have modern iPad fullscreen support. Today, Capcom has discounted Monster Hunter Stories on iOS and Android for a limited time. The iOS and Android versions run at a much higher resolution than the 3DS original and are a joy to play with smooth performance even on older iOS devices. If you’ve not played Monster Hunter Stories on any platform, watch the trailer for it below:
This discount brings the price down to $4.99 down from $19.99 until May 9th. It is worth noting that online multiplayer for the global version is only available with those who own the same global iOS release and not the Japanese version.
