Sting previously brought an enhanced version of the PSP and Game Boy Advance tactical RPG Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone to iOS, Android, and eventually Nintendo Switch in Japan. After that, the company announced an enhanced version of Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean for iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch in the form of Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition which was revealed for a 2021 release. If you’ve not played the original, it was developed by Sting and published by Atlus for PSP in Japan back in 2011 and it is finally hitting mobile next week. Sting announced that Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition will be priced at 2,220 Yen (approximately $20) when it releases next week in Japan. This version includes new features, balance adjustments, improved visuals, and more. Sting also released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming release. Watch the Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition gameplay trailer below:
Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition features turn-based movement with the card system and the real time union combat from Yggdra Union. Even though Yggdra Union had a localisation for the West, the mobile and Nintendo Switch versions never released outside Japan. Hopefully someone licenses Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition out to at least have it localised on Nintendo Switch since many older ports and re-releases seem to do well on the platform. While the App Store and Google Play pages aren’t live yet, you can check out the Nintendo Switch eShop page for Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition here. It hits all platforms on March 18th in Japan. Have you played Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean‘s original Japanese PSP release or Yggdra Union?
