Shiro Games’ Viking strategy game Northgard ($7.99) debuted on PC back in 2018. It is available on PC and consoles including Nintendo Switch and Playdigious announced that they are bringing it to iOS and Android. In Northgard, you play as a clan of Vikings who discover the land of Northgard as you build your settlement, assign various jobs, manage resources, and more. Northgard on mobile includes the Ragnarok and Relics updates and content in addition to the base game. Today, Playdigious announced that Northgard is hitting iOS on April 13th with discounted pre-orders now live on the App Store. The Android version will be coming later. If you’d like to see gameplay from the original PC release, check out our original Northgard announcement post here. Watch the new Northgard iOS release date trailer below:
If you’d like to play Northgard on iOS, you can pre-order it on the App Store right now for $7.99 at 10% pre-order discount. The regular price is $8.99. Check out the official website here. Northgard on iOS includes a revamped interface for mobile, Game Center achievements, and iCloud save support for progress sync between devices. Northgard is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms. It is $29.99 on Steam and $34.99 on consoles. Barring the low asking price, the gameplay definitely looks like a good fit for touchscreens so I’m looking forward to checking out Northgard on iOS on April 13th. Hopefully the Northgard Android release date isn’t too much later. Have you played Northgard on any platform yet?
Update: The Conquest update will not be included at release for the iOS version, Playdigious tells us.
