We’ve been following War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius ever since it was revealed for iOS and Android in Japan. The tactical RPG for mobile from Square Enix has been downloaded more than 9 million times in Japan since it launched a while ago. Today, Square Enix announced that War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will release this Spring outside Japan with pre-registrations now live. If certain pre-registration tiers are met, players will be able to earn Y’shtola in her Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers attire. Watch the new English trailer for War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius below:
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will have players following Mont and Sterne from the Kingdom of Leonis. This is a tactical RPG that is inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics. Players can summon Espers during combat as well. The game is set in the same universe as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It features music by Noriyasu Agematsu from Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. For ever 50k pre-registration tier, a new reward will be unlocked including Visiore and other bonuses. The game will feature both English and Japanese voice options when launches this Spring worldwide. Pre-registrations are now live on Google Play and on the official website. Have you played the Japanese release yet or are you waiting for the localised version that will support English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, and Traditional Chinese langauge options?

Didn't they just shut down one of their gacha games? Doesn't exactly inspire the confidence to start investing in another one of their games, despite how cool it looks.
Yes, Square shut down Mobius (or is shutting down, been awhile since I followed Mobius). Which is unfortunate but FF Mobius had quite a long life span for a mobile game, especially one as generous as Mobius with premium currency. What gives me hope is both Brave Exvius and FF Tactics have large fan bases that may carry this game for years to come. If War Of The Visions is even somewhat competent at launch I believe it will be successful and worth investing time/money into. I’m definitely going to be hoping for the best (great game/generous) since this is the SquareEnix mobile game I’ve been looking forward to since it was first announced.
This is the news I've been looking for daily since it launched in Japan in November!! Really looking forward to putting a lot of my mobile gaming time on that classic Tactics experience with a hero collector that looks this beautiful.
I'm not familiar with mobius but is there any chance this has a lengthy single player campaign much like Tactics? If so I am in. I sincerely hope this isnt a pay to win hero collector. Hoping for more Banner Saga and less "games as service" slog
