The popular RPG Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac (Free) has finally been released for
Western players. The game is based on the manga by Masami Kurumada that was first released
35 years ago and was later turned into an anime.
Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac aims to be as faithful to that source material as
possible containing both the background music reminiscent of the show and a top lineup of voice
actors. Amongst the star-studded voice cast is Yuki Kaji (Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan) and
Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch in Code Geass).
You’ll find yourself reliving classic moments from the manga from Poseidon’s Temple to the
Wailing Wall. All these environments will be rendered in full 3D so you can witness them in all
their intended glory.
The gameplay itself will see players collecting heroes from the show such as Andromeda Shun
and Pegasus Seiya. They’ll all have their own abilities and traits to discover as well as synergies
with each other. Making good tactical decisions will mean that lower-level characters can
overcome stronger foes.
Once you’ve assembled your team you’ll be able to take part in Galactic Duels where you’ll fight
other players from around the world for the Gold Cloth. This mode will include a pick and ban
phase similar to those used in Esports so you’ll be able to tactically eliminate any weaknesses
your team might have.
You can start making your dream team of Saints now on iOS and Android.
