Another week, another Clash Royale (Free) card, and this time it’s Goblin Gang. The new card, which costs 3 elixir, spawns 6 single-target troops, 3 Spear Goblins and 3 Goblins. The troops are always spawned with the 3 Spear Goblins in the back, which makes perfect sense since you want them protected. The unit is unlocked in Arena 9, the Jungle Arena. If you wanted to spawn Goblins and Spear Goblins independently, you’d have to pay one extra elixir than this card. And, of course, you only need one card rather than two, so it’s a win-win.

They can be quite damaging as a unit, so don’t ignore them if they’re coming your way. At the same time, you can use them to bait strong counters from your opponent. Valkyries are, of course, a perfect counter to this unit. This is the first card that spawns different type troops at the same time, so I’m interested to see this design space explored more in the future.
