Atar’s RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch (Free) has just exited soft launch and is now available worldwide. Featuring 3D visuals and a card pack system, you’ll be building up your park and creating rollercoasters to keep your peeps happy. The card system works similarly to a Clash Royale (Free) system where collecting multiples of cards will allow you to upgrade the buildings to an even greater degree, netting them more value and money for your park. Such is the life of a theme park owner and operator. And of course, after messing around with the park in the early going, you also get to build the famous rollercoasters that the series is known for. After all, it is RollerCoaster Tycoon.
This game is very much a free-to-play one, but the good news is that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 [appprice url="asdf"] by Frontier Developments is conveniently on sale right now for $2.99 if a version without any IAP is more your speed. And Atari has also made RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic ($5.99), a more traditional RCT game. Free-to-play is a natural fit for this franchise in 2017, but hey, at least those who dislike free-to-play in any form have an alternative.
