Quite a few people have asked me lately what the best MFi controller is that has a clip that you can snap your iPhone into, and my answer typically is something along the lines of “Eh, well, there’s the MOGA Rebel, but it’s sort of old and the SteelSeries Nimbus is a way better controller but it doesn’t have a clip." Well, some eagle-eyed Reddit users found a solution to this problem. Better yet? It’ll only cost you $1.82 shipped. Check it out:

All you’ve got to do is head over to AliExpress and buy the “MIJOY Universal Smart Clip For Xbox One Cell Phone Smart Game Clip Clamp Holder Mount Stander Joystick Gamepad Accessories&Parts" (Yes, that’s what it’s called.) which will set you back less than two buckeroos. The one catch, and this is true of all these sites that sell odds and ends from China, is that the shipping is slow. They’re currently estimating 20-38 days before delivery. Alternatively, you could pay $67.04 for DHL delivery that’ll have the clip in your hands in only 6-13 days!
Good things come to those who wait, and assuming the quality of this thing is reasonably decent (Being realistic that it’s $1.82, of course.) it should be a pretty huge slam dunk for MFi gamers- Provided you’re patient enough for it to come.

Big deal we've been playing them on mobile for years. Woopie
Plus you know that Switch prices will be nowhere near the iOS prices
Obviously these releases are directed at those who have never played them, so of course it's no big deal to you.
That is one way to look at it, but if those who have never played it and see it is cheaper on every other platform except the switch then it just might be received negatively.
Exclusives can get away with charging more over multiplaform titles not ports.
I certainly agree on fair pricing; I was more poking at the 'we had it first' mentality.
What's unfortunate is that you can't beat the iOS $1 sales that most of these games have been at before. I imagine these games will release at their original prices, but those will still seem high.
The more interesting implication here is that if Tomorrow Corp are thinking it's viable to port existing, mobile-ready titles to the Switch, then other publishers might feel the same way. That might mean a significant increase in the number of games available on the Switch.
And if these releases are available through Nintendo's eShop, prices might be competitive with other mobile releases. For some, that would just add to the Switch's potential value.
It seems like Nintendo will have to maintain some level of minimum pricing though to keep value in the platform, as it seems way more valuable to maintain $20 as the minimum price for a high-quality eShop game versus having a bunch of 99¢ mobile stuff on there as all that'll do is make "real" Nintendo games look too expensive.
What's next. Temple run. Infinity blade. So what.
I mean does Nintendo really need to come out with a new system every three years.
The Wii U came out more than 4 95373VF4+WF ago, and the Wii came out 6 years before the Wii U.
I'd only be interested in this if it meant there was at least SOME chance of an actual Nintendo game to be released on mobile. I know this will never happen, though. And, no I'm not forgetting Mario Run. I'm talking a REAL game like the new Zelda. That would be incredible.
Now you can enjoy your favorite titles on the switch for $40 each!
I'm more than happy to buy World of Goo for $40 if it means we're going to see a modicum of curation on the eShop compared to the avalanche of garbage allowed on the App Store.
Don't think you need to worry about that. So far nintendo hasn't allowed people to just submit whatever games they want onto the eshop. So they at least have the quality part on priority.
For many I think asking $40 for a game that was available since the Wii will be a hard sell unless it's a superior port with added benefits on the switch and content.
And Nintendo is waaaaaay less likely to break old purchases because of OS updates.
Price hasn't been clarified, so I'm not sure where that's coming from?
It's just a number I randomly came up with. No official confirmation of course. Was just an exaggeration that you can count on the games we've had on iOS to be A LOT more expensive on the nintendo platform while offering the same experience.
I agree; but it's hard for other platforms to beat those nice $0.99 sales we get in iOS land.
Add this to the pile of old games people already have or played, that seem to be getting shoveled onto the switch. Why buy a switch if I can play the majority of these already on something I have?
I used to face palm EVERY time a kickstarter game last year or before would be like "coming to pc and wii-u".
Nice. One last thing Nintendo. Web browser!
Use your iPhone for that!!
Soo? We get excited when we get the Binding of Isaac on mobile and that's been on pc for years lol.
Haha well said!
I wrote a post yesterday about when. Purchased on preorder the switch from a local store, there were many sold in that one shop already....and whadayano!
Articles today that switch is initially outselling ps4! Thats awesome news as i really hopi its a massive success, so it gets all the devs releasing amazing quality games!
I'd be very surprised if it reached PS4 levels of success, for reasons too lengthy to go into here. The long and short of it though and to subvert a well known phrase, it's too little, too soon ( and they want too much for it).
