Who doesn’t love an old-school first-person dungeon crawler? If you don’t, well, then you can probably just stop reading right here. If you’re a fan though, Crescent Moon has some very exciting news for you. They’ll be bringing Steve Jarman’s The Deep Paths: Labyrinth Of Andokost, which launched on Steam in late October, over to the mobile platform in the next couple of months. Steve Jarman, you may remember, has taken a couple of stabs at the old-school dungeon crawler formula on mobile, with Descend RPG ($1.99) way back in October of 2011 and Coldfire Keep ($4.99) back in February of 2014. His attempts at paying homage to one of his all-time favorite games Dungeon Master seem to just keep getting better, and The Deep Paths looks like the best effort yet based on this trailer from its Steam release.
This is in fact a spiritual successor to Coldfire Keep, and as Jarman himself claims, it’s “bigger and better than Coldfire Keep in just about every way." Besides reworking the desktop controls for touch, The Deep Paths on iOS will also include a new feature, ReplayKit Streaming. While the iOS port of The Deep Paths is still a couple of months away, you can brush up on your knowledge of its predecessor by checking out our original review of Coldfire Keep, which was positive but a bit lukewarm, as well as Shaun’s in-depth RPG Reload on the game from earlier this year. Coldfire Keep had most of the makings of a real winner but just fell a bit short in areas and was a bit too basic all around. Hopefully The Deep Paths can rectify those issues and offer up yet another great first-person dungeon crawler for mobile gamers when it launches next year.

Hope this sale last through Tuesday (payday) I am totally broke atm lol
Where to start? Castle of Illusion was the first game I ever got for my Game Gear, and that is a big discount. Still deep into DuckTales right now, though.
Super Phantom Cat is just brilliant though. One of the best platformers on iOS.
Grab Knights of the Old Republic if you haven't yet. Hands down the best rpg ever created.
I feel like this is a better sale than we got for Thanksgiving weekend. Not that I'm complaining - it's just a bit unorthodox.
I finally bought Oceanhorn. I know I'm late to the game. It is better then expected.
