One of my favorite games on iOS is Stealth Inc. ($4.99), an extremely clever stealth platformer that was originally released as Stealth Bastard on PC back in 2011 and made its way to pretty much every platform under the sun in the years since. Stealth Inc. uses lighting and stealth mechanics in lots of interesting and complex ways to create a really challenging game. Taking a similar but more simplistic approach is Simple Spy from Kodari Games. It has a similar spy theme but focuses more on traditional platforming mechanics, with what looks like a few neat twists thrown in the mix. Check out the trailer.
Simple Spy comes equipped with more than 60 levels and 5 different playable characters. As you can see in the trailer, gameplay is based heavily around a “green is good red is bad" mechanic, making for some dynamic traps and level designs. It looks lightweight but also challenging, and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it October 29th. Simple Spy will set you back the hefty amount of 99¢ with no in-app purchases or ads, so give it a look when it hits this Thursday.
