tinyBuild’s Bizarre RPG ‘Fearless Fantasy’ Coming May 14th, New Trailer Released

TouchArcade Rating:

Just about a year ago, tinyBuild released their turn-based RPG Fearless Fantasy on Steam. It featured some of the most bizarre visuals I’ve seen in a game, and overall it’s been positively received by those who have played it. A version has been planned for mobile for quite some time, and tinyBuild even ran an open beta testing phase on our forums starting back in February. The beta went smoothly, the game was all ready to be released… but tinyBuild wasn’t feeling it. They weren’t entirely happy with the final product, so they went back and tightened up some things as well as completely redid much of the art for the game. No small task, and it pushed the game’s mobile release back a couple of months, but finally the version of Fearless Fantasy that tinyBuild has envisioned for mobile is finally ready and releasing on May 14th. Here’s a brand new trailer.

Everything about Fearless Fantasy looks crazy and awesome, and I’m really excited to check it out for myself. Besides the various trailers and screenshots tinyBuild has released over the past several months, it’s really been the beta testers’ positive impressions of the game in our forums that have me really excited to play. May 14th is just a week away so mark your calendars for Fearless Fantasy, which is launching as a premium game.

Last time I tried playing on iPhone the timer didn't work properly and notifications were barely working at all. Really ruined it for me

I've been playing SolForge daily since the deck customization started in Jan 2014. The game has lot more depth than eg. Hearthstone.

The client works on iPad or PC/Steam the best really. The game is unplayable on Android really.

The only saddening thing is that the game has been progressing towards pay to win more and more past set releases. Legendaries used to be combo cards with downsides, but now they some of them are becoming more and more dominating as they are. Eg. Shardplate Behemoth which gains value against any other creature in the game my leaving a small body behind.

Still, better game than Hearthstone if you're looking complex mechanics.

Hearthstone was only able to hold my interest for about two weeks before I totally stopped playing. SolForge has kept me busy for more than a year. It is a great game. It is a difficult for new players to make competitive constructed decks without spending money (or lots of time), but they have a fantastic DRAFT environment where all players are on an even footing regardless of collections size. The game is VERY simple to understand but so much more strategically deep than the rival card games on the market.

I don't think HS is any less deep than SF. Both games are good, though I'm over SF. Got sick of crossing my fingers and hoping for 3s.
