FIRST ONE TO COMMENT ON THIS HISTORIC ARTICLE
I'm sure it'll be a great game, but if it ends up being lame after all this hype, I'll never stop laughing.
Dang you are fast arn
sorry posted the wrong link in the article. corrected.

Giddy up!
*violently explodes*
first impressions are very good. really nicely polished. very well done. game seems fun. still going through tutorial levels. but controls are very good.

I clicked the link, but I don't see it in the store.
Wow, it's finally here! After all of this hype, it should hopefully live up to the hype! However I already purchased SimCity and Diner Dash today, so I think I'll hold back until I see some in depth reviews and more videos.
they should say a huge thank you to the "loco-roco" team (and maybe pay) as this game is a clear copy of that game...
Damn, doesn't work on jailbroken iPods. Along with the other ngmoco apps, it just replays the "ngmoco" sign..
I haven't tried Rolando yet but I run Dropship and Topple on my jailbroken iPhone 3g with 2.2
I did unload Categories and Backgrounder from Cydia recently to free more system memory and I now experience fewer application (ok, game) crashes. I hope the next iPhone hardware has more RAM!
Hi everyone - enjoy the game!
ngmoco :)
Hi, im very excited omg omg , in a few minutes i will be playing it!! :3:3:3:3
Hey ngmoco, are you going to lower the price in the first 48 hours like you did with your other game? >:(
Seriously, price drops are expected, but that still rubs me the wrong way. Looks like a fun game, but heck, maybe a 50% sale will be here by Christmas.. I can wait :)
Team Ng:como,
Congrats on releasing so many fine games. We love you :)
ngmoco, are you making us jailbreakers not able to play it? It's not like we're stealing it. :\ I just payed $10 for a crashing app..
How can yo possibly expect ngmoco to test their games on jailbroken iPhones?
They have no way of knowing what to expect from an iPhone which could have any number of system level modifications which simply cannot happen on an unjailbroken iPhone.
I have no problem with people jailbraking their iPhone but I find it absurd for anyone to complain to a developer selling their game through the App Store that one of their apps doesn't work on such a system.
Sorry for the rant but this sort of thing gets to me.
"are you making us jailbreakers not able to play it"
Why on EARTH do ngmoco need to test on or even CONSIDER Jailbroken phones? You hacked your phone, deal with it...
This is THE best game I've played on my iPhone thus far! Living up to expectations and more! Brilliant gameplay, music, and controls. And I've only had it for an hour!
Well done ng:moco team! Look forward to future releases from a cool brand!
there is no problem with this title on jb devices, l2 manage memory
I second the annoyance about the price drops on Dropship and Dr Awesome. I (excitedly) bought Dropship as soon as it came out, and then checked back a few days later to see that the price had dropped by half. Needless to say, I'll wait a while on this one. (Dropship is pretty good, though.)
if anyone is even thinking about the price tag, the music in this title is worth 10 bux to me alone
Finally downloaded it, and man is it fun!!!
I am interested in this, but I've got Shaky Summit that I just picked up and am currently addicted to (much better then I was expecting and completely worth the new 99 cent price tag!), plus Toy Bot 2 that I am only party through and Dizzy Bee 2, Dropship and other games that I haven't really started yet. Then again... Rolando calls....
WOW, great game!!!! :D
Hypee, hypee me no likee........ Ok, I'm lying!
Impressively advertising! Ahh, that would explain why Arn had such quick insight into the release ; )
@salsamd, nah. I found out via twitter.
Cross-posted from the forum:
I'm having a great first experience with it. Above all, this game absolutely screams "polish," from the interactive title screen onward.
Concerns about comparisons to Dizzy Bee should be assuaged once gameplay videos start coming out. This is a wonderful interactive platformer with a neat story and wonderful, fitting graphics.
I'm kind of (meaning: very) concerned with the idea of replayability, though. 36 levels, even if that is excluding the tutorial levels, doesn't translate to a huge amount of time spent on this game. Hopefully I will be proven wrong. There are three extra objectives for every level (in addition to being required to save a given number of Rolandos), but frankly I don't see myself wanting to collect all the diamonds in every level or go exceptionally fast, especially if there are no unlockable items/levels to be gained from it.
But this is a genuinely fun experience, and perfectly made for the capabilities of the iPhone/iPod Touch.
I'm quite pissed off, since Rolando has *not* arrived in the German App Store. *want, want, want*
It is in the German store!!
Woke up, Opened laptop and now downloading it.
It's like Christmas! :)
By the way, cooooool TA background!! ;)
WTF!? It's definetly NOT in the german appstore!?!?!?
It seems a good game.
Pity about seems a carbon copy of Locoroco, from graphic to the concept.
@tvzoid
Explain how exactly this is like Locoroco?
yap ok it's in the german store as well. manual search didn't do any good...-.-
I'm already 35% through the game! It is absolutely amazing. This is the first game that has a true "console" like experience. BTW can we keep this toucharcade theme forever? (at least until Rolando 2...)
Wabaam just take a look on YouTube
I love it! Yes yes. Orgasmic!I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! So anyway:
It has a true polished console feel: amazed me when I first saw it. Gameplay is so much fun. Soundtrack is spot-on (still missing the Clap Clap Song from the early video though). Visuals are yummm. This is THE game that will establish the iPod Touch and the iPhone as real competition to other handheld consoles if you ask me. I can't believe how good this is. Wow!
Did that sound too hysterical?
i really wasnt chomping at the bit for this release but i bought it and i must say im impressed. I never really cared for locoroco but this is very catchy, its vibrant, wacky, and lets you escape reality for a bit, and the controls just work
Well, then, it shows the loading screen, then shows "ngmoco:)" and just stays.
Hey, Ngmoco=), how about Rolando 2? That's how many times I've played Rolando through fully, and if you don't hurry up and submitt part 2 I'm gonna have to do something dumb and buy one of these cheap, wannabee, Rolando mini-game clones from the Appstore! So, please find it in your heart to be speedy in releasing it.
Yeah, are you working on a Rolando 2?
