‘Surgeon Simulator’ on iPad will Have Eyeball Surgeries

TouchArcade Rating:

Last September Bossa Studios revealed that their “100-percent medically inaccurate" simulation game Surgeon Simulator 2013 would most likely be heading to the iPad in early 2014. Last month, they teased more Surgeon Simulator for iPad by introducing a new dentistry mode, as well as a new moniker for the game, Surgeon Simulator – Malpractice Makes Perfect. Today, the developer is teasing yet another new mode for the game, this one dealing with eye surgeries. Check it out.

According to the YouTube description, Bossa states that “We asked what operations you wanted to see in the game, this is what you said…" which is how the eye operations came about. So for that I just want to say thank you, Surgeon Simulator fans. That teaser gave me quite a laugh, and I can’t wait to get my hands on Surgeon Simulator – Malpractice Makes Perfect when it finally comes to the iPad, which according to Bossa is sometime “soon."

If they ever roll out an iPhone compatible version, I'll be all over it.

Some news is better than no news, and we've had no news for quite a long time!

When FTL comes out on ipad, it'll compensate for all the shit every week. Not everything but just about everything I see weekly is nothing worthy of expectations

    5. CzechCongo

      Bring it!

    6. Themostunclean

Hopefully one of the new systems isn't a freemium business model.

    7. appfreak

I've convinced myself not to play the FTL on any other platform until it comes out for the iPad, so it's great news to see it coming with some feature parity and not miss much. Looking forward to see how it controls on a touch screen; looks like a good fit

      1. CzechCongo

Why would you do something like that to yourself?

      2. OXMAN

Dude, this is the best "be a captain of your own ship" game! I've played it on PC and can't wait to play it on the iPad, I suggest you continue to wait like you said! You will not be disappointed, the fruit will be that much sweeter!

Thanks for your moral support! I might need to email the dev and take days off at work in advance

        Ditto!

I need this now! Most anticipated game of the year for me! Please please please please DON'T freemium it!!!

      1. CzechCongo

Pretty sure the devs have said they won't.

People have been raving about this game for ages, but I have to confess I'm nervous about how complicated/difficult it looks. I guess that's part of the appeal? I'll definitely try it if/when it hits ipad.

      1. oneironaut

It isn't too complicated, you'll get your head around the mechanics in all of ten minutes. Difficulty on the other hand, well, I've been playing for maybe 6 months now and I've only ever finished the game on normal difficulty once, but honestly, that's half the fun and it's what keeps me coming back.

      Exciting news!

Game looks sweet & has tons of fans.
'Advanced Edition" where you can hack, mind control, clone bay, and backup battery -- sounds like they mis-named the "Nerd Edition". Aren't those new abilities a listing of all the things nerds fantasize about?

      Give it to me nowwwww
