Feral Interactive Teases New iOS and Android Game Coming “Quite Soon”

TouchArcade Rating:

Back in July last year, Feral Interactive teased its next mobile release. That ended up being the amazing Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal (Free) which I covered extensively last year and we even featured as our iPad Game of the Year. Just before the weekend, Feral Interactive posted a look at its radar revealing a new iOS and Android coming “quite soon". The only tease is “DDIM I RODDI ITI FRAW". I’ve honestly given up guessing the developer’s ports because they go into the weeds for some of the hints. I imagine Feral Interactive usually reads all our guesses like George’s answering machine.

I don’t know if it is related to the clue or not, but I’d love to see Empire Total War come to iPad through Feral Interactive. I might reinstall it on Steam Deck to see how it feels there this week. As for what is possible, I’d say likely candidates are games that Feral publishes on macOS that you can check here on Steam. Beyond that, I’d love to see the team tackle something from a developer we don’t expect. Until we learn what this new game or port is, you can buy Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. What do you think Feral Interactive is teasing and what would you like ported to mobiletbet

This is a bit of a longshot but here goes:

      - DDIM I RODDI ITI FRAW is a line from a Welsh lullaby called Suo Gân.

      - The lullaby was sang by Christian Bale in the Spielberg movie ‘Empire of the Sun’

      - That movie was set during the Pacific Theatre of WW2

      - Eidos used to publish Hitman

      - In 2020 an HD remaster of Commandos 2 was published on current formats. It was originally published by Eidos and is set in the Pacific Theatre.

      - Therefore their next game is a port of Commandos 2 for iOS and Android?

According to Wikipedia, the line in said poem translates to “Nothing to give you fright” I think. But idk how that helps haha
