Yesterday, Netflix announced (and soft launched) a new spin-off game to the hit Dumb Ways to Die series in the form of Dumb Ways to Survive (Free). Dumb Ways to Die originally launched back in 2012 and became one of the most shared public service announcements. This new game based on it has been developed by Playside going by the store pages on iOS and Android. The official announcement and the trailer don’t actually say anything about the core gameplay, but the soft launch store pages both have gameplay screenshots, and Dumb Ways to Survive is confirmed to be a roguelike survival adventure game which has you trying to die as a dummy or surviving as a cute explorer Noob. Your aim is to navigate back home to Beanland. Watch the Dumb Ways to Survive reveal trailer from Netflix below:
If you’d like to try Dumb Ways to Survive through its soft launch, you can grab it here on the App Store for iOS and here on Google Play for Android. As with other Netflix soft launches, Dumb Ways to Survive might launch worldwide in the coming weeks. Netflix is yet to announce an official release date. Dumb Ways to Survive follows prior games like Dumb Ways to Die and its sequel that have more than 340 million downloads collectively.
