‘Company of Heroes’ Cross Platform Multiplayer in the Works for iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch

TouchArcade Rating:

Company of Heroes ($13.99) from Feral Interactive hit iOS and Android in a brilliant conversion, and it is now coming to Nintendo Switch as Company of Heroes Collection this month. Ahead of the Switch launch, I spoke to Feral Interactive about the Switch version and more relating to Company of Heroes. Stay tuned for my full interview next week, but there’s one specific part of the interview that I wanted to highlight on its own. Company of Heroes will be getting cross platform multiplayer across iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. The plan, Feral Interactive tells me, is to do a multiplayer beta on Android in early 2024 with iOS and Switch multiplayer updates later in the year. This is great news for those platforms, and I’m curious to see how it plays out. Watch the Company of Heroes Collection Switch trailer below:

Stay tuned for my full interview with Feral Interactive covering the Switch version, working on the hardware, and more. If you’ve not played Feral Interactive’s new conversion of Company of Heroes, I reviewed it on iPad and covered Company of Heroes 3 on Steam Deck from SEGA and Relic. If you’ve not bought the base game yet on mobile, Company of Heroes is available on the App Store for $13.99 right now. Check it out on Google Play here. Check out our forum thread for it here and the official website for the mobile conversion here. Have you played Company of Heroes on mobile yet and will you be checking it out on Switch next week?
