Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was officially announced and released for PC and console platforms a months ago. It was also confirmed for mobile, but iOS and Android versions are yet to release. If you’ve not kept up with it, I covered the game after a few updates on Switch. Read my review here. Following no news about the mobile trilogy for a while, Take-Two Interactive has listed it for release before March 31st, 2023 in its fiscal results for the first quarter of 2023. With no news about the mobile ports for a while, some thought they were silently cancelled, so it is good to see them be confirmed for mobile once again with a release window.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched on November 11th, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Rockstar Games Launcher). The iOS and Android versions were originally scheduled for the first half of 2022, but Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for mobile will now be out before March 31st, 2023. The console version launched at $59.99, so it is going to be interesting to see what price point the games have on mobile, and whether they are sold separately or just as a trilogy bundle. The discounted bundle is still up on iOS. Until then, read our reviews of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. What do you think of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition so far with the update having improved the experience a lot on some platforms?
