After Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was officially announced recently following a rumour from a little while ago, a support page listed various features of the upcoming trilogy including GTA V-style controls and targeting. Today, Rockstar Games revealed the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition console and PC release date and showcased a gameplay trailer for all three games. This trailer compares the new definitive release with the original games. Character model upgrades, massive overhauls to effects and lighting, and more are visible. Rockstar Games has also kept the games’ original aesthetic intact with the visual improvements. Vice City looks amazing in the footage so far. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launches on November 11th for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Rockstar Games Launcher) with a physical release planned for December 7th. The iOS and Android versions were confirmed to launch in the first half of 2022 before. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is priced at $59.99 on consoles and PC so it is going to be interesting to see how it is priced on mobile and whether the games are sold separately. The games are being delisted in the future so you should pick up the originals if you want to own them. The discounted bundle is still up on iOS. Until then, read our reviews of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. I’m curious to see how the mobile versions compare to Nintendo Switch and also with current generation consoles. What do you think of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition so far?
