It was more than 3 years ago that EA and Respawn Entertainment hinted that they planned on bringing their popular battle royale game set in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends, to mobile devices. With multiple beta tests and soft launches in the time since then, most recently a big soft launch for both iOS and Android devices that kicked off just a couple of weeks ago, it keeps feeling like we’re inching closer and closer to a full global launch of Apex Legends Mobile. Well, a pretty big milestone that seems to confirm the game is right around the corner is the opening of pre-registration for players across the world, which is just what Apex Legends Mobile has done today. (Well, most of the world, barring China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Russia and Belarus.) Alongside that they’ve released a very slick new trailer showing the game in action.
Man, this game looks freaking sweet. I haven’t had the opportunity to try out Apex Legends Mobile during any of its various early releases, but all I’ve been hearing is good things from those who have, and I have a feeling this game is going to be BIG. If you’re interested in pre-registering, which will of course go towards unlocking multiple tiers of rewards based on the number of pre-registrations, then head over to the game’s official website. Android players can pre-register directly on the Google Play Store, while iOS users need to sign up with their email on the website. According to the counter on the site there’s already more than 7.5 million players pre-registered, so yeah, this game is going to be big. The FAQ at the bottom of the site also says the developers are shooting for a full release of Apex Legends Mobile this summer, and I’m pretty pumped for it.
