‘Forza Street’ for iOS and Android Is Shutting Down This Spring, Final Update Now Available

TouchArcade Rating:

Originally released worldwide on iOS and Android back in May 2020, Forza Street (Free) from Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft is shutting down this spring. If you’ve not kept up with it, Forza Street is a free to play mobile version of Microsoft’s super popular Forza franchise. Earlier today, Microsoft confirmed that Forza Street is shutting down with the final update now live. This update makes it easier to complete collections in-game, disables in app purchases using real money, and adds more content for the existing playerbase. Watch the launch trailer for Forza Street below:

Ahead of the servers going offline when you will not be able to play the game, the Forza Street update also adds support for 12 weeks of Spotlight++ beginning January 17th featuring rare and epic cars, faster energy recharge and storage, reduced wait times on car shows, many in-game costs reduced as well, and more. Forza Street is about collecting and upgrading cars so this last update will help current players unlock more. Forza Street also synced progress across iOS, Android, and Windows 10 through the Xbox Live account. If you want to check it out before servers go down, you can download Forza Street on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. I didn’t care much for this with many excellent racing games already available on mobile including some brilliant premium ones that I’d rather play over this. Have you played it on mobile or Windows 10 yet?
