The Pokemon Company just announced a brand new app coming to iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows soon letting you play the Pokémon TCG against players across the world. Currently, Pokémon TCG Online (Free) is available and this new Pokemon Trading Card Game Live will replace it alongside the ability to carry over your data. Details on what will carry over are here. Pokemon Trading Card Game Live will let you build a collection of cards, add new cards through scanning codes, buying booster packs, taking on daily quests, and more. While a release date is yet to be announced, Pokemon Trading Card Game Live will be launching soon. The Pokemon Company wants this to be easy to learn for newcomers while offering fresh challenges for seasoned players. It will require an internet collection to play as expected. When it comes to language support, Pokemon Trading Card Game Live will launch with support for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese when it arrives.
