TouchArcade Rating:

With Call of Duty Vanguard arriving on consoles and PC soon, Call of Duty: Mobile is set to celebrate its 2nd anniversary with a new season and the addition of a very important map. The cross promotion has already begun giving Call of Duty: Mobile players Arthur Kingsley as a playable operator for playing the Call of Duty Vanguard beta. Previously, Call of Duty: Mobile seasons have brought in new modes, maps, and more across the last few months. We even had Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies return as the Undead Siege mode that released with Season 6: The Heat. Over the weekend, Activision revealed that the Call of Duty Blackout map is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile this week alongside Season 8: 2nd Anniversary. Watch the Call of Duty: Mobile 2nd Anniversary teaser below:

Blackout is the first battle royale map for Call of Duty that launched in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The full map has been replicated for mobile including the Hijacked and Ghost Town additions. Call of Duty: Mobile adds Blackout on September 22nd at 8 PM (5 PM PDT). It will feature Raid, Array, Firing Range, Nuketown Island, Cargo Docks, and the two aforementioned additions. Alongside this map, Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8: 2nd Anniversary will go live to celebrate the game’s original launch on mobile back in 2019.
