Beamdog just announced another tablet release with Axis & Allies 1942 Online. Axis & Allies 1942 Online is the digital version of Hasbro’s strategy classic tabletop game Axis & Allies 1942 Second Edition and it debuted on Steam Early Access before for $19.99. Beamdog is bringing it to iPad with full cross platform support this Summer as a premium release. An Android tablet release is planned for later in the year as well. Axis & Allies 1942 Online is a turn based strategy game where you play as World War II powers. The iPad version will include all major features and game modes from the Steam version including online multiplayer and player account syncing across platforms. Axis & Allies 1942 Online is available on Steam Early Access right now for $19.99. The iPad version is set for this Summer and it will be priced at $9.99. It includes the single player modes, hot seat multiplayer, online multiplayer with cross platform support, ranked seasons, and more. The Android version (for tablets) is set for later this year and it will be priced at $9.99 as well and include all the cross platform support. Beamdog releases are almost always excellent on iPad so I’m looking forward to this one. As of now, there is no news for a potential Axis & Allies 1942 Online iPhone or Android phone release.
