Minecraft’s Huge Caves & Cliffs Update Part 1 Will Add Up to 91 New Blocks, New Deep Dive Video Released

Last month, the massive Minecraft ($6.99) Caves and Cliffs update that was originally showcased at Minecraft Live, was confirmed to be a two part update. This decision was made to not compromise on quality and ambition. The current global pandemic has also caused a delay with the first part of the update set for this Summer and the second part to arrive around the holiday season. Over the weekend, a new deep dive video into the Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update revealed that the update will bring up to 91 new blocks to the fray. Minecraft Caves and Cliffs (both parts) will see big changes arriving for the Overworld. This includes world generation affecting caves, mountains, build height, and more and also a wealth of new content.
