‘Crash Bandicoot: On the Run’ from King and Activision Has Launched Early on the App Store for iOS

TouchArcade Rating:

Originally set to launch on March 25th, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run (Free) from Activision and King has gone live early on the App Store for iOS. We’ve been covering it across its initial reveal through a Facebook ad and soft launch in some regions. With Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time now available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and coming soon to PC, Activision and King have released Crash Bandicoot: On the Run on iOS early. After you download it from the App Store and complete the tutorial leve, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will ask you to download about 481MB of data. In the little I’ve played of it so far, the Crash gameplay works really well as expected in a runner format. Watch the trailer for the game below:

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run requires an internet connection to play and it is supposed to have 50 bosses across 12 different lands. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is free to play with in app purchases included ranging from starter packs to specific purchases like The Barrel, The Crate, and more. If you’d like to check it out and are on iOS, you can get it on the App Store for iOS here. It hasn’t released on Android as of this writing. Check out the Crash Bandicoot: On the Run Google Play page here. Head over to our forum thread for the game here. Have you played any of the recent Crash Bandicoot console and PC remakes or Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time yet?
