TouchArcade Rating:

Sky: Children of the Light (Free) from thatgamecompany was Apple’s iPhone Game of the Year for 2019 and also an Apple Design Awards winner at WWDC 2020. It has been getting updated regularly with new seasons, fixes, and other content since it debuted on iOS and eventually arrived on Android. Sky: Children of the Light also launches in Spring 2021 for Nintendo Switch. Today, Sky: Children of the Light 0.12.0 went live on iOS and Android bringing in support for the new Season of Dreams where Home gets an icy makeover in addition to five new quests and more. After you have updated, pre-orders for the Season of Dreams should go live. This includes gifting which is now possible before a season becomes active. Watch the teaser for the Season of Dreams ahead of its release next month below:

The Days of Feast event begins on December 21st and will go on until January 3rd. This event features doubled Treasure Candles, festive candles on Message Boats, new in app purchase items including the Days of Feast Horn, Days of Feast Hat, and Snowflake Cape. The New Year’s celebration in Sky: Children of the Light begins on December 28th and will go on until January 3rd. Barring the new content, Sky: Children of the Light 0.12.0 now requires new players to complete the Hidden Forest to be able to send heart gifts to friends. This doesn’t affect older players gifting new ones though. Sky: Children of the Light is now available for free on iOS and Android.
