The last big update for PUBG Mobile (Free) on iOS and Android arrived recently as PUBG Mobile version 0.19.0 that brought a new nordic themed map, the new Royale Pass Season, and more. Today, Tencent announced details for the huge PUBG Mobile 1.0 update for the game. This includes graphics enhancements, performance improvements, improved gameplay, and more. The update arrives on September 8th worldwide on iOS and Android and will also include a yet to be announced feature. Some players will be disappointed with no mention of controller support but I don’t think that will ever be added to the game. Watch the reveal video for the PUBG Mobile 1.0 update below:
This update will include improvements to character animations, lighting improvements to the lobby and environments, better visual effects, scope interaction, texture improvements, and more. The game’s interface and controls have also been overhauled for 1.0. A file cleaning function is on the way as well for managing game installation.
