Back in June last year, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad (Free) at the company’s E3 showcase. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is an action RPG mobile game. Pre-registrations went live for it back then and we didn’t really have any news for it since. Over the weekend, Ubisoft’s Ubisoft Forward event saw the game get another reveal with a confirmed release date. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad now releases on August 27th worldwide on iOS and Android for free. The game includes 70 playable characters with weapons and gear to upgrade as you build your squad. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad arrives next month for free bringing 5v5 shooting battles and more featuring characters from across different games. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad also features a campaign with a new storyline across multiple chapters that let you unlock new soldiers. It has PvP and guild wars for competitive modes.
