Last week, Lightning Rod Games confirmed that A Fold Apart () was going to launch today on Apple Arcade. I expected it to be the only game added to the service since Apple had sort of gone into this one new game a week pattern. Today, we get not one but two games joining Apple Arcade. This includes A Fold Apart and Beyond Blue () from E-Line Media. E-Line Media published the lovely Never Alone on mobile a few years ago. In December 2019, the team announced that Beyond Blue was delayed to February 2020. Both games are now available on Apple Arcade. Watch the trailer for Beyond Blue below:
While the puzzle folding game A Fold Apart for Apple Arcade, PC, and Nintendo Switch is out now, the PS4 and Xbox One versions are pushed back because of the coronavirus pandemic. I was already looking forward to this week’s additions because of A Fold Apart but having the gorgeous looking adventure game Beyond Blue as well is a nice surprise. You can download them both on Apple Arcade here and here. Watch the launch trailer for A Fold Apart below:
I hope Apple continues to bring one (or two) games to the service each week because every service seems to be offering something since many people are working from home or stuck at home thanks to the pandemic. Check out our dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussion on the service and every game included here. What do you think of the additions and pace of new games so far?
