With one of the best Nintendo Wii U games finally coming to Nintendo Switch this week, Fire Emblem Heroes (Free) is getting ready to celebrate with a new event. If you’ve not been keeping up with it, Fire Emblem Heroes remains Nintendo’s most successful mobile game and it is pretty clear why. Today, Intelligent Systems and Nintendo announced a new event for the game featuring characters from Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore from Atlus and Nintendo. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is an enhanced Nintendo Switch port of a Wii U game featuring characters from the Fire Emblem universe. Watch the event announcement video below:
The event is titled ‘A Star is Born’ and it features Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore characters like Kiria, Tsubasa, Itsuki, and more. What is interesting here is that Fire Emblem Heroes will be the first time these characters have English voices. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore on Nintendo Switch only has a Japanese voice track option. The event begins on January 19th in the form of a summoning event. There will also be a way to earn Itsuki: Finding a Path in the next Tempest Trials+ event. Watch the trailer for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore on Nintendo Switch below:
Fire Emblem Heroes continues to improve with each update alongside Dragalia Lost. I can’t wait to see how both of them evolve this year because every other Nintendo mobile release has been disappointing for me in some way or the other. If you’ve not played Fire Emblem Heroes for a while, now is a great time to get back into it. Did you end up playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses on Nintendo Switch?
