Towards the end of July, Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Pixowl announced that they’d be releasing a mobile tie-in game with the upcoming The Addams Family animated film, which is set to hit theaters on October 11th. The game is called The Addams Family Mystery Mansion and at that time all we knew about it was that you would “help Morticia and Gomez to reunite the rest of the family and re-furnish their home. Through chapters and missions driven by an original story and witty dialog, players will collect their favorite characters from the upcoming movie The Addams Family as well as furnish and decorate the famous Addams Mansion." Well today we finally have a real look at the game in action thanks to a new trailer, and unsurprisingly it sounds very similar to that description. Check it out.

In addition to the new trailer we’ve also learned that The Addams Family Mystery Mansion will be launching just prior to the movie on October 9th, and as of today it is available for pre-order and pre-registration on both iOS and Android. I’ve always liked The Addams Family and actually dig the look of the new animated film, so I’m definitely down to check out The Addams Family Mystery Mansion when it arrives in October.
