Microsoft is Teasing an Augmented Reality ‘Minecraft’ Experience for Mobile, Full Reveal Coming Next Week

Gameloft games getting Xbox Live isn’t the only bit of mobile-relevant news coming out of Microsoft’s 2019 //Build conference, as the Washington-based company is also teasing something interesting with their massively popular Minecraft IP. It appears to be some sort of augmented reality experience in the Minecraft world, and very possibly something along the lines of Pokemon GO. Check out the teaser.

Unfortunately that teaser is all we have to go on for the moment, but thankfully Microsoft isn’t going to make us wait too long to find out what this is all about. As noted at the end of the trailer they’ll be revealing more next week on May 17th over at Minecraft.net. Needless to say we’ll be tuning in to see what this Minecraft AR business is all about.
