‘Block Fortress: Empires’ is Finally Close to Complete, Spots Open for Public Beta on iOS and Android

It feels like forever ago that Foursaken Media announced Block Fortress: Empires, the latest and most robust entry in their mega-popular Block Fortress series, but in fact it was just in September of 2017, about a year and a half ago. Still, when we’re talking about a new Foursaken game time seems to drag even slower waiting for it to come out. The last time we heard an update about it was in August of last year when Foursaken was seeking out beta testers, and they’d occasionally pop up in the game’s forum thread to let everyone know they were still hard at work on the game. Well, it’s been about eight months since that last update but today Foursaken has reached yet another big milestone and are now looking to recruit another round of beta testers for Block Fortress: Empires ahead of its impending release. First though, a brand new trailer!

Foursaken describes Block Fortress: Empires as “undoubtedly our most ambitious game yet!" and given their previous releases, that’s really saying something, so I think everyone is cool giving them however much time they’ll need to do the game right. The release window is very tentatively set for about two months from now, which is obviously subject to change depending on how things in this latest beta go. The important thing though is that it’s getting very close now. If you’d like to get in on the beta test, they’re looking to take in about 1000 testers on both iOS and Android. For the iOS players you can click on this public Testflight link to try for access to the game, though they might shut that down if the desired number of spots fills up. For Android you can click on this link to register as a tester on Google Play. We’ll of course continue keeping tabs on Block Fortress: Empires and will very eagerly await its release this summer.
