If you’re in the United States and anywhere near the Midwest, I hope you’re staying nice and toasty today. Here in the Chicago area we’re seeing record-breaking cold, with my town in particular hitting -55º F wind chills at around 6:00 AM today. It’s so cold outside that we actually were able to do the thing where you throw boiling water into the air and have it instantly turn into snow. When life gives you lemons, make snowy lemonade, as they say? Ironically enough, it’s National Escape Day, but I will not be escaping my house with how cold it is outside.
